Selby police station closure to save £120,000 annually, says PCC

Selby police station is to close in a move that could save £120,000 a year on maintenance, said the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.
Staff at the Portholme Road site are to move to council offices in Doncaster Road during 2016.
The former police station is then to be put up for sale, said Julia Mulligan the commissioner.
Dave Jones, Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police, said it was disposing of "old and expensive properties".
Mrs Mulligan confirmed Eggborough and Sherburn police stations were not to be moved.
The decision taken by Selby District Council Executive Committee is subject to planning permission.
