Samuel Diatta: Men bailed after York jewellers disturbance death

Three men arrested after a man died following a disturbance at a York jewellers have been released on bail, police have said.
Samuel Diatta, 39, was restrained by a member of staff and other bystanders at Mappin and Webb on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Diatta, from York, died shortly after 18:40 BST. A medical investigation is being carried out into the cause of his death.
North Yorkshire Police asked any witnesses to contact them.
Officers were called to the Coney Street jewellers at about 16:40 BST to reports of a disturbance at the store.
Mr Diatta was taken to York Hospital where he died two hours later.
Three men, two aged in their 40s and one aged in his 50s, were initially arrested in connection with the incident and questioned.
Det Insp Steve Menzies described what had happened as a "tragic" incident.
He said members of Mr Diatta's family were being supported by specially-trained officers.
An Independent Office for Police Conduct spokesperson said they had received a mandatory referral from the North Yorkshire force.
The watchdog added: "We were notified due to the fact officers had arrived when the man's condition deteriorated.
"We will now assess the available information to determine what further action may be required."
