Harrogate police cordon in place after serious sex attack reports

Parts of Harrogate town centre have been cordoned off after reports of a woman being sexually assaulted.
Police said areas of James Street, Petergate and Market Place had been closed to allow officers to investigate.
A spokesperson for the force said officers were trying to establish the circumstance of the incident.
They warned residents and businesses would notice an increased police presence in the area.
