A York cleaner who admitted secretly filming women and girls undressing has been jailed.
Daniel Winteringham, 35, placed cameras in his victims' homes and he made recordings, York Crown Court heard.
He pleaded guilty to several charges including voyeurism, taking and making indecent videos and images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
On Friday, Winteringham was sentenced to 38 months in prison and placed on the sex offenders' register for life.
He had also pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice after he asked one of his victims to lie to the police for him and offering her cash and harassing her when she refused, North Yorkshire Police said.
'Disturbing and unforgivable'
Winteringham's offending came to light after a young girl saw him photographing her in a state of undress and alerted her parents.
A spokesperson for the force said devices later found at Winteringham's home, in Sutherland Street, York, contained "multiple videos and photographs of females who he had secretly recorded in various states of undress, after placing cameras in their homes".
Extreme pornographic images involving animals, which he had downloaded from the internet, as well as thousands of covert recordings of women and girls who were fully dressed and in public were also discovered.
After the sentencing, Det Con Alastair Foy said Winteringham had "committed terrible breaches of trust" against his victims and "violated their safe spaces".
"As the judge said, his actions were outrageous, disturbing and unforgivable," he added.
Each of Winteringham's victims and their families had been "seriously impacted by his appalling actions", Det Con Foy said.
"I sincerely hope today's outcome helps provide a degree of closure for them."
During the hearing at York Crown Court, restraining orders were also made to protect each of Winteringham's victims.
Meanwhile, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order was made to restrict his activities when he was released from prison.
