Tollerton: Family appeal over man missing for two weeks

The family of a pub landlord who disappeared two weeks ago say they need to know what has happened to him.

Luke Willetts, 33, left the Black Horse in Tollerton, near Easingwold, at 04:30 BST on 23 October and was last seen walking in the direction of Alne.

His disappearance prompted a police appeal, with specialist teams searching fields, woodland and water courses.

His partner, Lauren Chadwick, said: "The hardest thing is not knowing where he is, or if he's alright."

Mr Willetts is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of a slim build, with short brown hair, brown beard and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a yellow-and-blue checked shirt and blue jeans, police said.

Appealing for him to make contact, Ms Chadwick said her partner was a "good dad" to their two young children and always tried to make them laugh.

She urged him to "just let someone know he's OK, even if he's not ready to come home".

Ms Chadwick also praised the police and the local community for their efforts in trying to locate Mr Willetts.

"They've walked miles and miles, I don't think there is anywhere they haven't covered," she added.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "If anyone knows where Luke is, or you have seen a man matching his photograph or description, please call immediately on 999."
