Harrogate crash: Woman dies after being hit by car in North Park Road

Police appealed for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch
A woman in her 70s has died after being hit by a car in Harrogate, police said.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash involving a grey BMW 3-series and a pedestrian in North Park Road, at about 16:10 GMT on Monday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the driver was helping officers with their inquiries.
The woman's family were being supported by the force, the spokesperson added. Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to call police.
