A girl has been injured after being hit by a car which failed to stop in Scarborough.
Police said the incident happened between 17:30 and 17:50 GMT on Tuesday at the Salby Road junction with Woodland Ravine.
The 13-year-old suffered minor cuts and bruising after being hit by a saloon-type car driven by a woman with blonde hair.
Anyone who can identify the car or driver is asked to contact police.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the vehicle involved was described as a "long dark-coloured, possibly blue, saloon type of car".
The injured girl received hospital treatment but has since been discharged, they added.
