Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta at Castle Howard 'taking a break' for 2024

A balloon festival which attracts thousands of visitors each year will not go ahead in 2024, organisers said.
The Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta, which moved from York Racecourse to Castle Howard in 2023, sees mass launches of hot air balloons from all over Europe.
The weekend-long event started in 2017, with more than 20,000 tickets sold for the event last year.
A website statement said the festival would be "taking a break in 2024 and will return in summer 2025".
In the statement, organisers said they wanted to express "heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported the event over the years".
They added: "We remain dedicated to delivering exceptional and unique experiences and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future."
Alongside balloon launches, last year's event featured live music performances by artists including Sam Ryder and Sister Sledge.
