Skipton stained glass window theft sparks police appeal
- Published
Police are appealing for help tracing a stained glass window which was stolen from a property in North Yorkshire.
The 27 x 47in (70 x 120cm) window was removed from a building in Sackville Street, Skipton, between 11:00 GMT on 29 January and 09:15 GMT on 2 February.
The decorative pane was of "great sentimental value" to its owners, according to North Yorkshire Police.
Anyone who had seen the window up for sale, or who had information about the theft, was asked to contact police.
