York: Man arrested after student injured in assault

A man has been arrested after a student was assaulted in York on Saturday.
Police said the student, a man in his 20s, was left with facial injuries following the incident which happened on Fulford Road at about 20:00 GMT.
Officers said the attack had been "unprovoked" and the injured man had spent two days in hospital.
A man, in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed pending further investigation, the force added.
Anyone with any information about the attack, which happened near the Broadway and Fulford Road junction, has been asked to contact the force.
