A63 crash: Driver killed and passenger injured in collision

A man has died in hospital after a crash on the A63 in North Yorkshire.
The 89-year-old was driving a red Citroen C1 when it collided with a grey Mini Cooper near South Milford shortly after 17:00 GMT on Tuesday.
North Yorkshire Police said the driver was taken to hospital but died from his injuries. A woman, aged 77, who was also in the car suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.
The driver of the Mini was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Officers investigating the collision have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
