Yorkshire Dales scenery showcased in immersive art display

An immersive art display will showcase the scenery of the Yorkshire Dales with a classical music soundtrack.
The Soundscapes gallery, set up by artist Michaela French and composer Ben Crick, will be installed at Skipton Town Hall until 1 June.
Visitors will sit in a dome to experience 360° videos while a symphonic soundtrack plays.
Mr Crick, from Cononley in North Yorkshire, said it was "something I've wanted to do for ages".
"I've been mulling it over about doing something that shares what I can find in the outdoors with other people," he told BBC Radio York.
His soundtrack for the installation will be played by professional orchestra Skipton Camerata.
Mr Crick joked how being in the classical music world was surreal as a Northerner, saying: "Whenever I turn up somewhere posh to conduct, I think there is a genuine feeling I'm there to mend the roof or delivering coal - it's an accent thing."
He added he also wanted to help make classical music accessible to everyone.
Mr Crick said: "I think there's a worry that people have been told, 'it is elitist and not for you - you can't like that'. But it is just normal human beings who wrote it, expressing the things we all feel and know and experience in their way,
"I think it is so important for us all to engage with the arts and I think classical music isn't for everyone but it should be for everyone - some people aren't going to like it and that's OK, but everyone should have the opportunity to have a listen to it.
"At its best, art reflects the hopes, desires and emotions of individuals and gives voice to them in the wider society."
