Thornborough Henges unlock Yorkshire's ancient past

Drone footage of the Thornborough Henges complex, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, shows the three huge circular earthworks from above.

The monuments were constructed during the Neolithic age, around 5,000 years ago.

Historians believe they were used as places to gather, celebrate and perform rituals.

All three have now been reunited after being acquired by English Heritage, and are all expected to be open to the public for the first time this summer.
