House fire closes Harrogate street
- Published
A house fire has led to the closure of a street in Harrogate, with emergency services deployed at the scene.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the blaze in Avenue Close at 09:50 BST on Friday morning.
A spokesperson said crews were working to get the fire under control and stop it spreading to an adjacent property.
Crews are likely to be in attendance for "some time", with police asking motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area while work at the site continues.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed all three emergency services were present at the scene, but could not confirm whether anyone had been injured at this time.
