Appeal after man seriously injured in city centre

The incident took place on King's Staith in the early hours of Tuesday morning
Police have appealed for information after a man suffered serious head injuries following an incident in York.
The exact circumstances of how the man was injured have not been established, North Yorkshire Police said.
Officers said the incident is believed to have taken place on King's Staith between 02:15 BST and 04:00 BST on Tuesday.
They said the investigation was at "an early stage" and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
