Dog opened door to attack postman

A Londonderry dog-owner has been fined £150 after his Rottweiler attacked a postman.
The postman was delivering to a house in Caw Hill Park last December when he was attacked.
The city's Magistrates' Court heard that a Rottweiler had used its paw to open the door of its owner's house.
A solicitor told District Judge Barney McElholm that the postman was injured when a Labrador, which was following him, was attacked by the Rottweiler.
A solicitor for the Rottweiler's owner said the dog, called Missy, was a family pet which regularly played with the owners grandchildren.
She said the dog was normally kept in the back garden. But on this occasion Missy pushed down the handle of the door to get out.
The dog has been removed from the house and is being kept in a purpose-built pound in Drumahoe.
