Donegal speed camera van is set on fire

A speed camera van has been destroyed in an arson attack in County Donegal.
It was set on fire in Cashel, near Carndonagh, early on Saturday morning. One person was in the van but was not injured.
The attack has been condemned by Inishowen Fianna Fail TD Charlie McConalogue.
"The operator had to make a very quick exit from the van and it burned to a cinder," Mr McConalogue said.
"So it must have been quite a powerful device that was used to ignite the van.
"It's a reprehensible act and could have resulted in the death or injury of the speed van operator and it has shocked people locally that somebody would have undertaken such an act, such a dangerous thing."
