Contact centre firm Teleperformance is recruiting 400 staff in County Down.
The vacancies at its Newry and Bangor sites include customer service and "client executive" roles.
The French-owned company said many of the jobs were "more aligned to a junior account management role than the traditional contact centre agent role".
Teleperformance UK chief executive Alistair Niederer said they wanted "talented people with a passion for delivering excellent customer service."
He added: "We are currently enjoying a high level of growth across the UK and are proud to be creating such a boost in Northern Ireland with these vacancies."
