HMS Caroline the WWI Jutland veteran in Belfast

Related Stories

HMS Caroline is the last surviving warship of the Battle of Jutland and has been berthed at Alexandra Dock in Belfast since 1923.

Built in 1914 in Birkenhead, HMS Caroline was one of the fastest warships of the time, capable of speeds of up to 30 knots.

There were plans to move the vessel to Portsmouth earlier this year, but she will now be restored to her original condition and play an important part in Northern Ireland's maritime history.
