Major Northern Ireland investment conference planned

The economy minister hopes to capitalise on the opportunity represented by the G8 summit
There are plans for a major international investment conference in Northern Ireland in the autumn.
The Northern Ireland Executive hopes world leaders attending the G8 in County Fermanagh in June will agree to send trade delegations.
Economy Minister Arlene Foster said: "It is really to take the opportunity which the G8 has presented to us.
"We are having the leaders of the world coming to Fermanagh in June and we want to continue with that."
The Stormont Executive hopes Prime Minister David Cameron will sell the idea, which would pave the way for an announcement at the G8.
Business leaders in Northern Ireland have already been briefed about the possibility.
No dates have been decided, but October has been mentioned.
The last major investment conference in Northern Ireland took place in May 2008 and involved almost 100 companies from the United States.
Staged at the Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra, the three-day event coincided with the first anniversary of a return of devolution to Stormont.
