Police investigating the attempted murder of a woman in east Belfast have revisited the scene of the shooting.

Jemma McGrath, 24, was shot in the lower abdomen, hips and knees in the attack at her house in Lord Street Mews, off the Beersbridge Road.

The shooting happened on Wednesday 25 September. Police returned to the scene at the same time, 22:15 GMT.

They specifically appealed to anyone who saw two men in the area.

One wore a grey hooded top and the other was in a black tracksuit.

Det Insp Ian Magee said: "To date, as part of this investigation, a 27-year-old male and a 28-year-old male have been arrested, interviewed and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

"It is important that those involved in this attack are identified and brought before the courts and we would encourage anyone who may have information that can help in this process to contact police."
