Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) has said all of its customers have now had their electricity restored.

Customers lost power following damage caused by strong winds and heavy rain on Thursday night and Friday.

NIE estimates that power has been restored to just over 34,000 customers.

The areas worst affected by power cuts were the Ards Peninsula, Moneyreagh, Ballynahinch, Dromara, Downpatrick, Crossmaglen, Newcastle, Gilford and Castlewellan.
