A 29-year-old man arrested following the death of a student in Belfast last week has been freed on police bail.

Enda Dolan, from Killyclogher in Omagh, County Tyrone, was involved in a collision on the Malone Road, near the Elms student village, on 15 October.

A 29-year-old, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released pending further inquiries.

A 19-year-old man also arrested after the death has been released.

The younger man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs. He was freed on police bail last Wednesday.

Mr Dolan was a first year architecture student at Queen's University in Belfast.
