Laura Marshall: Man appears in court over Lurgan murder

Gary O'Dowd, 36, from Knocknagore Road in Gilford denies any involvement in her death

A 36-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman in Lurgan, County Armagh.

Laura Marshall, 31, was found dead in a bath in a flat in Victoria Street on Sunday 3 April.

The court heard there was a lot of blood in the room.

Gary O'Dowd from Knocknagore Road in Gilford denies any involvement in her death. The pair had been in a three year relationship.

It was alleged in court that there was domestic abuse in their relationship.

Mr O'Dowd has been refused bail and is due to appear in court again next month.
