Arson attack at fast food outlet in south Belfast

Police are treating a fire at a fast food takeaway on the Donegall Road in south Belfast as arson.

The blaze was reported at about 0230 BST on Saturday morning.

Extensive damage was caused to the inside of the business and adjoining flats were subject to smoke damage.

Three fire engines attended the scene. It is understood that no-one was inside the building at the time.
