Elderly mother's case 'shows care system is broken'

A woman who has been left to care for her 97-year-old mother after a care package was withdrawn said the system is "totally broken".

Moira Etherson, who is 68, was given just a week's notice that her mother's care would end due to a shortage of staff.

She said the situation she has found herself in is "very, very tough - it is exhausting".
