£110k of suspected cannabis seized

Drugs were seized after searches in Dunmurry and Newtownards

Police have seized an estimated £110,000 of suspected cannabis during searches in Dunmurry and Newtownards.

Detectives from the PSNI's organised crime unit carried out the searches last Friday and Saturday.

No arrests were reported by the police following the operation.

"Drugs ruin lives and damage communities. We will continue to target those who seek to exploit vulnerable people for their own criminal gain," Det Insp Richard Thornton said.
