Carrickfergus: Furniture factory badly damaged by fire

A fire has caused significant damage to a furniture and interiors factory in Carrickfergus, County Antrim.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call just before 03:30 BST to attend the blaze at Abbey Upholsterers on Meadowbank Road.
More than 70 firefighters were sent to the scene and they prevented the blaze spreading throughout the premises.
Nearby residents are being advised to keep their windows closed due to a large amount of smoke from the site.
The NIFRS said firefighters "worked in arduous conditions" to bring the blaze under control.
There are no reports of injuries.
