Weather warning: Disruption possible as snow falls in parts of NI

Several centimetres of snow have fallen over parts of Northern Ireland overnight, with a warning of possible traffic disruption.
The Met Office has issued a warning for snow and ice until 11:00 GMT on Friday.
The emphasis of the warning has been for western counties but some wintry showers are expected to the east.

On Thursday evening, the PSNI advised motorists to exercise extreme caution on parts of the A5 Omagh Road, which was described as "treacherous".
Snow ploughs have been deployed on high ground routes in the north of the province.
Drivers are encouraged to take care and leave extra time for travelling.

In the Republic of Ireland, a snow and ice warning has been issued for the entire country until 11:00 on Friday.
Irish weather service Met Éireann is warning of hazardous driving conditions in some places with hail, sleet, snow, and ice.
On Tuesday, a similar weather warning brought the first snowfall of the year to Northern Ireland as well as icy conditions.
