Newry shooting was ambush and execution, say police
Gunmen who shot a man in Newry ambushed and executed him, say the police.
The 58-year-old was shot multiple times at Ardcarn Park shortly after 18:00 GMT on Thursday.
Supt Norman Haslett of the Police Service of Northern Ireland says the "level of violence used was reprehensible".
