Ballygowan: Two injured after motorcycle and car crash

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Ballygowan, County Down.

Several ambulance crews were sent to Drumreagh Road where a blue Triumph Tiger motorbike and a blue Suzuki Ignis car had crashed at about 16:30 GMT on Saturday.

An air ambulance and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were also dispatched to the scene.

The two injured people were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

The Drumreagh Road, which was closed following the crash, has since been reopened.
