Cash machine theft: £94,000 stolen at Cabragh petrol station

An estimated £94,000 was stolen from a cash machine outside a petrol station in Country Tyrone, police have said.

It was reported at about 06:00 GMT on Friday on Ballygawley Road in Cabragh, near Dungannon.

Police said an attempt had been made to force open the cash machine's side door and damage was caused to machine's structure.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.

"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between midnight and 3:30am and saw what happened to get in touch," PSNI Det Insp Ryan said.
