Belfast Glider: Teenage girl charged with assaulting Translink staff

Police investigated separate assaults on staff at two Glider halts in east Belfast

A 17-year-old girl has been charged in relation to separate assaults on Translink staff in east Belfast in recent months.

Police said the workers were attacked at Glider stops at Holywood Arches and Templemore Avenue in January and February.

The suspect is expected to appear before Belfast Youth Court on 2 June.

She has been charged with three counts of common assault.
