West Belfast: Man shot in the foot at City Cemetery

Police said the shooting happened in the grounds of the City Cemetery

A man has been shot in the foot by two masked men in west Belfast on Thursday evening, police have said.

It was reported the man was taken into the grounds of the City Cemetery, off the Falls Road, where the attack happened shortly after 22:30 BST.

Police said the man was shot in the foot by two masked men and had been taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers remain at the scene.
