Parkgate: Man in 80s robbed at County Antrim home

A man in his 80s has been robbed by a gang of masked men in the village of Parkgate in County Antrim.

Four masked men forced their way into the man's house at Connor Road some time between 23:30 BST and midnight on Friday.

The man was locking his front door at the time.

The gang began searching a number of rooms and stole cash and a cheque book. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
