Newtownabbey: Man suffers head injury in Glenvarna Drive attack

Police said the attack happened in the Glenvarna Drive area shortly before 04:05 BST on Saturday morning
A man in his 30s who was assaulted by six men in Newtownabbey has been taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
The incident occurred shortly before 04:05 BST on Saturday in the Glenvarna Drive area, with one of the men reportedly armed with a baseball bat.
Ambulance and police crews attended the scene, before the victim was taken to hospital.
Police have appealed for information about the attack.
