A woman and three children have escaped injury in an arson attack in Londonderry.
They were in a house in the Clon Elagh area of the city when a car was set on fire in the driveway just after 23:00 BST on Thursday.
The police said the car was "completely burnt out" and that a petrol bomb was used in the attack.
The blaze was put out by firefighters and a man, aged 50, was arrested and remains in police custody.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the four people in the house had been left "understandly shaken" but were not physically hurt.
Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
