David Blayney died in hospital on Friday

A man has died in hospital more than two weeks after his motorbike was involved in a crash with a car in Ballymena.

David Blayney, 53, died on Friday from injuries he suffered in the crash on the Cullybackey Road on 22 November.

His Honda motorcycle collided with a Honda CR-Z car at about 17:45 GMT at the junction with the Teeshan Road.

A 25-year-old man who arrested after the crash has been bailed to allow for further enquiries.

Police are investigating the crash and have appealed to anyone who witnessed it or has information to contact them.
