GAA fans hopeful as Casement work begins

GAA fans have said they are hopeful Casement Park will be rebuilt as preparatory work takes place on the west Belfast stadium.

The ground has been derelict for a decade and is scheduled to host matches at soccer's Euro 2028.

BBC News NI spoke to some fans outside Corrigan Park, where Antrim played Down on Sunday.

Although funding for the project has yet to be finalised, steps are being taken to try to ensure construction can begin immediately, if the money is secured.
