A 34-year-old woman has appeared in court charged in connection with a fatal crash in County Fermanagh.
Valeria Amorim, who was six months pregnant, died after she was struck on Boa Island Road, Belleek on Monday.
Emma Josephine Feely of Blackrock Park in Belleek was visibly emotional as she appeared before Dungannon Magistrates' Court via video-link.
She is accused of causing the death of Ms Amorim by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol.
The court heard that Ms Feely admitted to drinking earlier on the day of the crash.
She is further charged with causing grievous injury to two other pedestrians, driving without a licence, being an unaccompanied learner driver and not displaying L plates.
Ms Amorim, 28, was walking with her mother and young daughter on the Boa Island Road when they were hit from behind by a car.
A defence solicitor said her client wished to express condolences and remorse at what had happened.
A police officer raised concerns about tensions in the community.
The district judge said it was a very emotive case.
He granted bail subject to an address which was approved by police and bail of £500.
The judge also told Ms Feely to continue engaging with addiction and mental health services and not to consume alcohol.
The case was adjourned until 11 March.
