Herdman's Mill fire in Sion Mills was 'deliberate'

Fire crews contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading, the NIFRS said

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue service has confirmed that a fire at a derelict mill in County Tyrone on Sunday was deliberate.

More than 60 firefighters tackled the large blaze at Herdman's Mill at about 14:00 BST.

Nine pumping appliances and specialist high-reach and high-volume pumps were sent to the scene.

There were no injuries.
