Brown v Blair conspirators: What surprises me

Having always thought that Labour ministers in the last Government behaved rather like the cast of Friends, all group hugs and mutual support, I was shocked to read that apparantly there was fueding, tribalism and even plotting going on behind the scenes. Not.
Frankly, the only real surprise in the highly entertaining material published by the Daily Telegraph today is that in the upper reaches of the last Government there were people apparently daft enough to document their plans bullet point by bullet point on paper, and then leave them lying around where someone else could find them.
This does not exactly suggest world class conspiritorial skills. And that may be what is held against the protagonists in the Westminster village.
