A nice year-end moment at Commons business questions today.

Leader of the House, Sir George Young, quoted an interview given jointly by Labour's twin sister shadow ministers Angela Eagle (shadow leader of the house) and Maria Eagle (shadow transport secretary).

According to the interview, he said, they hadn't had a row in decades. You could sense the approaching punch-line as the Commons collectively aaahed: "Given that admirable sense of family affection I wonder if she might be able to give some advice to the leader of her party…."
