Isuzu Trucks' Nikki King on UK economy and tax cut calls

Isuzu Trucks' managing director said the "opposition and media would be shot" in a wartime for their talking down of the UK economy.

Nikki King claimed the truck industry was the first in - and first out of - recession and people in her trade were having "a reasonably good time".

She said green shoots in retail sales should be celebrated as she rejected Ed Balls' call for tax cuts.
