No Commons vote on Murdoch

I understand that the Commons is not going to be asked to vote on whether Rupert Murdoch is "a fit person" to run a major international corporation.

However, the Commons Culture Media and Sport Committee hope that MPs will vote to censure the three News of the World executives criticised in their report today.

This will require either the government or the Commons backbench business committee to make time.

Of course, the Labour Party could separately decide to table its own motion using the wording of today's select committee report.
