PMQs: Cameron on disability benefit and universal credit

The prime minister said the overall spending on disability benefit - as it converts to the universal credit - would see spending rise from £1.35bn last year to £1.45bn in 2015.

David Cameron said all current recipients would be "fully cash protected by a transitional scheme".

He spoke of the plan to give more money to "the severely disabled children" and a lower amount for less disabled people, which "showed the right values and the right approach".
