Europe: UKIP poll rating and threat to Conservative MPs
The rise of UKIP saw it come second at the last European elections and some polls show it might come top when the next set of MEPs are elected in 2014.
It is not predicted to win a seat at the next general election, but UKIP could threaten the careers of Tory MPs and make it more difficult for Conservatives to win a majority, although polling shows Europe only comes third on its supporters' priorities.
Giles Dilnot spoke to UKIP's deputy leader Paul Nuttall, chief executive Will Gilpin and party secretary Michael Greaves.
