David Cameron told MPs that the Iraqi government must take a "more inclusive approach towards Sunnis, Shias and Kurds", to bring an end to the conflict.
Ed Miliband warned there were consequences not just for Iraq, but the whole world, and sought assurances that British nationals fighting in the region would not return to the UK and engage in extremism.
