Scottish Energy Minister Fergus Ewing wants oil tax cut
Nobody predicted the dramatic fall in the price of oil nor can they control it, said the Scottish energy minister.
Fergus Ewing said it could lead to "many people losing their jobs" in England and Scotland where more than 400,000 people work in the oil and gas industry.
He spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics about the "urgent need" for tax cuts within weeks to avoid a "fiscal catastrophe" if fields were to close, and how the UK could learn lessons from Norway.
