PMQs: Cameron on strike action
Conservative MP Bob Blackman used his slot at Prime Minister's Questions to criticise last week's London tube strike, and he asked the David Cameron to say that strikes in essential services should be "a last resort and not a negotiating tactic".
David Cameron agreed they should only ever be a last resort. He said tube drivers are well paid, with their salaries set to increase, and he set out the trade union reforms the government is planning to introduce, including a requirement for higher thresholds in strike ballots.
